Warranty Policy
At HiLink Technologies Pty Ltd, we stand behind the quality of our products. This Warranty Policy outlines your rights and the coverage provided for products purchased through our store.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Manufacturer Warranty
Certain products, including IP security cameras, NVR/DVR equipment, and accessories, may include a manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturer warranties are provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a manufacturer warranty applies, the warranty terms will be determined by the manufacturer. In some cases, claims may need to be made directly with the manufacturer.
Warranty Coverage
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
If a product is found to be faulty within the warranty period, we may:
• Repair the product
• Replace the product
• Provide a refund where applicable under Australian Consumer Law
Warranty Claims
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact us with the following information:
• Order number or proof of purchase
• Description of the issue
• Photos or evidence of the fault (if requested)
Our team will guide you through the inspection, repair, or replacement process.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
• Improper installation or misuse
• Physical damage, accidents, or modifications
• Power surges, water damage, or environmental factors
• Normal wear and tear
Products that have been used, installed, or modified may not be eligible for return unless confirmed faulty.
Return of Warranty Items
Returned products must be adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are safely packaged when returning items.
Customers are also responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed faulty.
